Sharon Fierro joins Type A Learning Agency as Chief Financial Officer

CHICAGO (25 August 2003) - Type A, Chicago’s premier custom e-learning provider, announced today the appointment of Sharon Fierro as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Fierro will assist Type A in achieving its long-term strategic growth initiatives by assuring continuous fiscal responsibility, operational excellence, and capital support.

Fierro brings to Type A over 15 years of e-learning industry experience, which includes co-founding and leading the $50 million multinational educational software company PLATO Learning, Inc. through a successful IPO; serving as Chief Accounting officer of NetG, a large, multinational, technology-based training company; and helping Chicago-based Learning Insights raise private investment capital during the recent downturn.
