Beth Larson,
chief operating officer
Beth's role at Type A often resembles that of an air
traffic controller at an airport. Never fazed by the incredible
number of people, objects, and ideas that our most complex projects
fling across her radar screen, Beth always manages to make the
right decisions under pressure and to get everyone home on time.
Experience
Beth graduated magna cum laude from
Augustana College with a BA in English and Theatre, and earned
her MA in Community Arts Management from the University of Illinois,
Springfield. She has accrued over ten years of hands-on technical
skills and management experience in everything from content development
and quality assurance to video and audio production. Beth is also
a member of Vistage, the world's largest CEO Membership Organization,
and has completed the ASTD Human Resource Development Institute
Program.
Beth has managed award-winning projects and served
a variety of Type A clients, including the
Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), Pfizer, GMC/Pontiac,
Sears, and the University of Chicago Hospitals.
What it means to be
Type A
Type A is best defined by good ol' Will Shakespeare: "Better
three hours too soon, than one minute too late."
