Arlo Leach, chief technology
officer
Like an alchemist turning lead into gold, Arlo delights
in turning messy procedures into streamlined processes. As Type
A's cofounder and chief technology officer, Arlo works with clients
to establish their technical needs, leads R&D initiatives,
and designs the proprietary software systems that support our
daily operations.
Experience
Arlo graduated cum laude from Grinnell
College with a BA in English and Music. His 12 years of experience
in e-learning centers on web programming, relational database
design, and documentation and is augmented by LMS integration,
web server administration, data encryption, and other high-level
IT skills. Always eager to share his technical expertise, Arlo
also moonlights as an instructor at Compy
School, a classroom he created to help beginner computer users.
Arlo has served many of Type A's clients, including
Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Molex, The Bulletin of the
Atomic Scientists, and Walgreens.
What it means to be
Type A
"Type A means imagining future problems and solving them,"
says Arlo, "before they occur."
