Belyaev, chief executive officer
Anna is to Type A what a compass is to seafaring.
As cofounder and chief executive, she helps set the standards
and chart the course for Type A and for many of our clients. Pragmatic
and resourceful, Anna is valued for the insight and ideas she
brings to complex engagements, and can always be counted on to
take human factors, the big picture, and long-term objectives
into account.
Experience
Anna graduated magna cum laude, Phi
Beta Kappa from Lawrence University with a BA in Slavic Languages
and Literature, and went on to earn an MA in Russian Literature
and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has
been actively involved in high tech for over 15 years, having
got her start at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications
(NCSA) in the group that produced Telnet, Spyglass, and Netscape.
Recognized by the Illinois State Treasurer’s
Office as an Entrepreneurship Trailblazer, Anna is frequently
consulted about industry trends by parties as diverse as the Italian
Trade Commission and the Canadian Department of Economic Development.
She also serves on a variety of boards and leadership councils
and was most recently appointed to the United
States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), elected to
the Economic Club of Chicago, and named co-chair of the Education
Program Development SIG for the Association Forum of Chicagoland.
